Refund Policy

Teams unable to participate in the Tournament due to restrictions placed by local health units related to COVID-19 will receive a full refund.

All other Team withdrawals will receive the equivalent of the fee received from the replacement team.

Age Categories

These are determined based on the players’ ages at December 31, 2021, as follows:
U10 (2012):  U11 (2011): U12  (2010): U3  (2009): U14 (2008): U15 (2007)
U16 (2006): U17/18 (2005 & 2004)

Tournament Format (contingent on registration)

8 teams (2 groups of 4) in each age category. Round robin within each group. Top 2 in each group advance to semi finals.

Calibre of Hockey: Please note this is an “A” Tournament from U10 to U18
House League: Anyone can play regardless of ability.

Mandatory Equipment

You are governed by the requirements of you own league. Players must wear the equipment (mouth guards, neck guards etc.) as required by their own league

Location of Arena

Canlan Ice Sports, York is located on the grounds of York University in the north west part of Toronto at 989 Murray Ross Parkway, south of Steeles ave., east of Jane St., west of Keele St. It is a modern 6 arena complex and is visible from Steeles ave. Overlooking 4 of the arenas is a restaurant/bar where you can watch the action on the ice in comfort. The 6 pads are identified as 1,2,3,4,5,6.

Directions from West of Toronto

401 east to 400 north to Steeles Ave, east , past Jane St, to Murray Ross Pkwy, south (right) to arena

Alternate Route via 407ETR

401 east to 407 (toll highway) east to Jane, south to Steeles, east to arena.

Directions from East of Toronto

Similar to above, ie 401 west to 400. You could go North on Keele from the 401 to Steeles & west to the arena, however you would probably encounter more traffic.

Alternate Route via 407ETR

401 west to 404, north to 407 (toll highway), west to Keele, south to Steeles, west to arena.

Alternate Route via 407ETR/ 412ETR

401 west to 412 (near Ajax), north to 412(toll highway), west to Keele, south to Steeles, west to arena.
